Emmy Ren is a Malaysian cinematographer and artist based in London. She graduated from the National Film and Television School (NFTS) with a master’s degree in cinematography. Her work spans across narrative films, commercials, and music promos.

Aside from filmmaking, Emmy brings her passion for light, space, and atmosphere into her artistic practice, creating installation pieces that explore the emotional and sculptural qualities of illumination. In 2025, she participated in the Barcelona Arts Summer School (BASS) artist residency, she worked alongside ten other artists to create an immersive interdisciplinary performance piece showcased in The Design Museum of Barcelona.
